It Starts Early

So I have a thing for Lincoln. And evidence, recently unearthed due to traumatic exiting of childhood home, would suggest it goes way back:

Exhibit 1: The Postcard

Blank postcard, purchased early 90s.

Exhibit 2: The Morbid Photos.

Photos from a D.C. trip, 1996. The one on the bottom left? The bed Lincoln died in (diagonally, because he was too tall).

Exhibit 3: The Magazine

The one and only Time Magazine I saved.

Exhibit 4: The Costume

That would be me, in the back, dressed as Lincoln. 1998.

  1. I’m reading “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer”. Lincoln was a morose man, but on his way to the theater and about to meet his untimely doom, he was in a joyous mood. Things were going his way. :(
