So I have a thing for Lincoln. And evidence, recently unearthed due to traumatic exiting of childhood home, would suggest it goes way back:

Photos from a D.C. trip, 1996. The one on the bottom left? The bed Lincoln died in (diagonally, because he was too tall).

I’m reading “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer”. Lincoln was a morose man, but on his way to the theater and about to meet his untimely doom, he was in a joyous mood. Things were going his way.
Man, I need to pick a couple of good non-fiction reads for the rest of the summer!
